Beretta — a family story
Founded in 1526. Family ever since.
A house, a family, since 1526
Beretta is the oldest manufacturing company in the world. It was founded in 1526, in a Lombard valley, by Mastro Bartolomeo Beretta. Five centuries later, it is still owned by the Beretta family.
Like the Château de Laplanque, Beretta believes that family, time, and craft are inseparable. Two estates, both private, both still held by the families that built them — it was natural that we should work together.
Our hunters are equipped with Beretta firearms throughout their stay. Those who wish may extend their journey across the Alps for an experience few outsiders ever see.
— Mastro Bartolomeo Beretta, Lombardy
The Beretta SL3 Tutankhamon — a work of art
An Italian extension
After your French hunt, you may travel to Gardone Val Trompia, in the Italian Alps, to visit the Beretta factory and its astonishing private museum, the PB Selection atelier where the world's finest engravers still work by hand, and the Beretta family vineyard, Lo Sparviere. The journey ends with a day on Lake Garda.
